Had an early dinner at this restaurant today. The ambiance was very nice with a traditional Italian atmosphere. We were immediately offered drinks and a bread basket containing some very very good types of bread. I then ordered a bacon cheeseburger sub with fries on the side. The sub was very well cooked and the bread was delicious. The servers seemed very friendly and we had overall a very nice meal. Will definitely be returning soon. A must for anyone traveling through the historic Glen Rock area.

I've been here a couple times and have had good and bad meals. Overall, their pizza and subs are quality and I often crave them. I definitely recommend eating here because the dining area is BYOB and I've always had great service!

Stick to pizza and subs! I believe the experiment serving breakfast should come to an end. Maybe I caught them on a bad day. But I do not know. The coffee was awful there was no ice in any drink. They were serving soda out of the two liter bottle. Maybe there were some technical difficulties... but difficulties did not end there. My wife's over easy eggs came out over-HARD. My creamed chipped beef tasted like it came out of a bag and was cold. The biscuits were OK and the home fries were all right. But the other parts of the experience will lead me to believe that I will not darken their doors for breakfast again.

We have eaten pizza from every joint in the area...Mingano's is the best without a doubt! I am all about the crust, and theirs is perfect! It's the idea balance between crispness and chew. Get the hand-tossed pizza or the stromboli, you won't be disappointed. I can't speak to the Italian dishes, I've never tried them.

I finally caved and tried this place. See the issue was everyone knocked them that I talked to except my neighbor. I always talked up Glen Rock Pizzas Stromboli, it is good, but their pizza is not my cup of tea. So I decided to try this, well I shouldn't listen to people I really don't listen to anyother time. The pizza is way better than Glen Rock Pizza and the Stromboli is just as good too. I will have to try the subs and if they are not frozen bad meat like the other Glen Rock place then they definitely will be my local place. And they deliver!!!!!

Having grown up in the Southern York County area, I have tried practically all of the eateries over the years. For Italian food there is absolutely nothing that comes close to Mignano Brothers in Glen Rock. This family owned establishment is the highlight of the town's dining scene. The atmosphere is between casual and classy with a Mediterranean decor. The menu is pretty extensive and every dish I have tried has been great (and their portions are huge). While you wait for your food to be ready they bring the best, most flavorful bread baskets. I have had no complains about the service either. The only draw backs are minor: the often long wait for the meals to be prepared and the sometimes not optimal seating.

Vile. Baked ziti was pasta with old sauce and two pieces of cheese slapped on top. It sure didn't see the inside of an oven unless it was a mIcrowave oven. The eggplant parm was also microwaved. Stay away from this place. I cannot believe an Italian would serve this slop. I would have rather had Chef Boyardee.

I grew up about 10min from this place and I used to order from them all the time. I would also dine in with friends on occasion and the food and service was always fantastic. I live about 30min away now and I still haven't found anywhere that's as good. On the weekends my wife and I still occasionally make the drive just because we love eating there so much.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
